We also recommend shielding the canopy from below, to achieve a complete Faraday cage. This mattress pad is a sewed piece of shielding fabric that can be laid under the bed or under a carpet. Deep-pile fabrics, by default, are not supplied with lining, to both keep costs down and avoid any incompatibility with your interior design. Appropriate for our kingsize-bed and single-bed canopy.

This fabric is manufactured by Swiss Shield® in Switzerland. The secret of its shielding effectiveness is a patented, ultra-thin high-tech yarn. Pauli of the University of the German Federal Armed Forces in Munich, Germany according MIL-STD 285 and IEEE-Standard 299-1997. The shielding power is effected by a wrapped silver-plated copper fiber.
